Editorial & AI Content Policy
AI Universe News
Effective date: February 2026 | https://www.aiuniverse.news
This policy describes how AI Universe News produces, reviews, and publishes content. We are committed to transparency about our AI-assisted editorial workflow, journalistic standards, and content sourcing practices.
1. Our Editorial Mission
AI Universe News is an independent digital publication covering artificial intelligence, machine learning, and technology innovation. Our mission is to deliver accurate, timely, and accessible coverage of the AI landscape for a global audience of professionals, researchers, developers, and curious readers.
2. AI-Assisted Content Production
2.1 How Our Workflow Operates
AI Universe News employs an AI-assisted editorial model. Our content production workflow operates as follows:
- Step 1 — News Sourcing: We aggregate publicly available news from licensed API services including NewsData.io and GNews, which provide access to headlines, summaries, and article metadata under commercial licenses.
- Step 2 — Relevance Filtering: Automated relevance filters ensure only articles pertaining to artificial intelligence and related technology topics are processed.
- Step 3 — Duplicate Detection: We maintain a deduplication system that screens new articles against our publication history using title similarity and URL matching to avoid republishing the same stories.
- Step 4 — AI Rewriting: An AI language model (LLM) is prompted to produce a new, original article based on the public facts contained in the source summary. The model is explicitly instructed not to reproduce any sentences, phrases, or structure from the source.
- Step 5 — Quality Review: Automated content quality checks verify that the resulting article meets minimum length, relevance, and readability standards.
- Step 6 — Attribution: Every published article includes a visible attribution block crediting the original reporting outlet and linking back to the source article.
- Step 7 — Publication: Articles are published on WordPress with appropriate category tags, featured images, and SEO metadata.
2.2 What Our AI Does and Does Not Do
Our AI rewriting process is designed with clear boundaries:
- The AI produces entirely new prose using the underlying facts as its basis
- The AI does NOT reproduce copyrighted text, sentences, or paragraphs from source articles
- The AI adds journalistic context, background, and editorial framing
- The AI does NOT fabricate quotes, events, or data not present in the original reporting
- All factual claims are grounded in the original publicly reported information
2.3 AI Content Disclosure
In compliance with transparency best practices and emerging regulations (including applicable U.S. state AI content disclosure laws), AI Universe News discloses that:
- Our articles are substantially produced with the assistance of AI language models
- Each article is published under the editorial responsibility of AI Universe News
- We use AI as a tool, not a replacement for editorial judgment
3. Copyright and Intellectual Property Standards
3.1 Our Approach to Source Material
AI Universe News treats copyright compliance as a core editorial value. Our approach is based on the following principles:
- Facts, data, and public information are not copyrightable and form the legitimate basis for original reporting
- We do not reproduce copyrighted expression: sentences, paragraphs, or the distinctive structure of source articles
- We always attribute the original reporting outlet
- We always link back to the original source article
- We do not attempt to replace or compete with the original source; we provide independent commentary and context
3.2 Transformative Use
Our editorial content is transformative in nature: it produces a new work — with different expression, expanded context, and independent editorial perspective — inspired by publicly reported facts. This model is consistent with established fair use principles and the practices of legitimate news commentary and aggregation outlets globally.
4. Image and Media Standards
Featured images used in our articles are sourced from the following channels:
- Unsplash: Free-to-use photography under the Unsplash License
- Pexels: Free-to-use photography under the Pexels License
- Proprietary stock library: Internal collection of technology-related images
All images are attributed with photographer credit and source platform. We do not use images without permission. We do not modify images in ways that misrepresent their original context.
5. Corrections Policy
AI Universe News is committed to accuracy. If an error is identified in a published article:
- Material factual errors will be corrected promptly with a visible correction notice
- Minor editorial errors (grammar, punctuation) will be corrected silently
- If an article is found to reproduce copyrighted material in error, it will be immediately unpublished pending review
To report an error or concern, contact: legal@aiuniverse.news
6. Editorial Independence
AI Universe News editorial content is independent of our affiliate advertising partnerships. Products featured in affiliate recommendation sections are selected based on their relevance to AI professionals and enthusiasts, not on the basis of advertiser payment for editorial coverage. Affiliate relationships do not influence news coverage.
7. Prohibited Content
We do not publish content that:
- Reproduces copyrighted text without permission
- Contains false factual claims or deliberately misleading information
- Promotes illegal activity
- Constitutes targeted harassment of individuals
- Violates applicable content regulations
8. Feedback and Complaints
